The S Family {New London Family Photographer}

This past weekend I met up with the S Family out at Harkness State Park. Our goal for the session was some family photos as well as two year old photos for Logan. Well, Ethan definitely wanted in on the individual photos too. We played in the gardens, on the beach and all around the rest of the park. I have found that the key to 2 year old boys is a brightly colored bouncy ball and moms that sing silly songs work like a charm as well! Shannon and Seth – I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

No offense to all of my previous mamas-to-be but I think this was my favorite maternity session yet! Stacy and Sean were up for anything and we had a lot of fun (even amidst skunks, an intoxicated dancing lady on the beach and two weddings). We were at one of my favorite locations from last fall – Harkness State Park. I have to say it is completely gorgeous in the summer as well!

This family sure knows how to have fun. The session started off with backflips, continued with tree climbing and ended with Little Mermaid imitations on the beach. Even though Will tried faking sick in order to get out of the photo session, I think he had a great time )though I am betting he may deny this statement!). There will definitely be some fun outtakes to share with this trio. I really enjoyed spending time with Terri, Sami and Will and can tell that there is so much love between them.

Yesterday I met another wonderful family at Harkness Park. What a beautiful location and a fun family. Matthew was a trooper through the entire shoot and when I praised him for it, he informed me that he was a Storm Trooper. Amy had much better things to do than bother herself with a photo shoot. That being said she is so totally cute and has these perfect ringlets in her hair. Lucky for us, she loves Scooby-Doo, candy and leaves. We had fun on the beach and also fit in a Christmas wardrobe change.

I must admit that MY family does not really do a dressy Christmas celebration but I simply adore the red dress that Amy wore. Is it silly for me to go buy holiday dresses just for the sake of photographs? If you are my husband and are reading this, that is a hypothetical question.

Yesterday afternoon, I met this gorgeous family at Harkness State Park for a family photo session. Keiralyn is turning one next month and wasn’t so sure about me. In fact, Susan and Scott also mentioned that they disliked getting their photos taken. Well, you wouldn’t believe it – they were pros.
