Sweet Adah {CT baby photographer}

I had so much fun at Adah’s one year session. Mom and Dad say she wasn’t her normal smiley self but we still managed some great smiles. The best part of the whole session was the cake smash but you will have to stay tuned for the rest of those photos…she was a champion cupcake eater! In the first shot below, we were trying to recreate one of her newborn shots wit her daddy. Well, Adah is a big girl and it was not as easy as it looks. I think I have about 20 outtakes in attempt to get this shot. I love the little grin on her face. Looks like she is up to something.

Really. I wasn’t going to touch a single one of these photos today. I have to unplug my computer and move my desk so we can paint the wall tonight. So I promised myself I would upload the photos to my computer, take a quick peek and then unplug everything. Then I saw this one…I could not resist. I had a blast with these three 2.5 year olds this morning out at Avery Point. Come back and see more tomorrow!!!

Family Fun at Avery Point {CT family photographer}

The weather this weekend was so beautiful and I was excited to get outside for a session with this family. We were supposed to have a session the previous weekend but all of that rain made us reschedule. While it was a bit cooler and windier by the water, they were troopers. Seriously, could this family be any more photogenic? I was looking through the photos from the session and was amazed by their comfort in front of the camera. At the end of our session, they all took turns jumping off of a bench for me…even Mom and Dad. Hard to say who had the most fun but it was probably Aiden. Thank you Ashley and Heather for joining me with your family this weekend!

They grow so fast {CT child photographer}

I first met Megan a year ago while doing her 1 month photos. Then I got another chance to photograph her when she turned 4 months old. Now she is ONE! Time flies and I can’t believe she is running around already (and boy, does she go – FAST!)

We did a series of photos in her room and Megan played in her crib as the sunshine streamed in. I love them and it totally makes me want to capture Leah in her crib before she outgrows it or more than likely climbs out of it.

Michael also got in on the fun. He was quite easy to bribe with some chocolate. We also had fun jumping on the bed and reading dinosaur books.

I love this shot of the two of them. Look at those beautiful eyes.

We also had a blast with a birthday cupcake smash! Stay tuned for some frosting filled photos!
