Just a few snapshots from this weekend. I love this first one of Hannah because she has recently learned to “pump” while on the swings. She is so so proud of herself that she can get herself going and get up really high. And I love that my petite little girl still has her baby belly.

And then there is Leah. I love how this hot hot weather makes her hair get all wavy and curly.

We had a great weekend with neighbors and friends!

This blond cutie kept me on my toes. Aiden is 18 months and all boy. We went down to the arboretum for a photo shoot and he was always on the go. We played with a bright yellow bouncy ball (bright yellow so we wouldn’t lose it!) and a stuffed monkey friend. Heather, I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

I think this is the best shot I have gotten of the two of them together in a long time. I know very few photographers who have an easy time photographing their own children. We actually dread it. So this one really makes me smile.

I had plans for an Easter photo session with my girls. I had the perfect place picked out. The weather was gorgeous!!! And I even had new spring dresses. Of course it was the one day that Leah took the longest afternoon nap ever and we didn’t have time before dinner with friends to go take photos. So I took Hannah out in the yard while Leah slept and then tried to get Leah to cooperate after she woke. Here are a few shots from yesterday – Leah was less than thrilled.

When Hannah began losing interest, I told her that we would give a photo or two to her teachers like we did at the end of the school year last year. She got all excited and gave me this pose. She was so sure that this is what her teachers like best! (Her school photo this year is in a very similar pose).

Madison is ten weeks old and such a cutie. She was so alert and even tried to sit up! Her sister Shealyn couldn’t wait to get in front of the camera. Shealyn loved twirling in the pink pettiskirt. It was such fun to hang out with you for a little while.

While I did not get the screaming shot that I did with Renzi, Leah was not happy to be in a pumpkin. In the first shot, you can see the candy in her mouth. I was bribing her with Smarties (perfect bribing candy because they do not melt like chocolate and do not leave telltale colors behind like other candy). She didn’t last very long and even tried to crawl away – pumpkin and all. Thanks to MC for the inspiration and set-up tip!
