These beautiful children are from my second minisession while in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Seriously, how adorable are they? I know Andrea really wants a family shot of all five of them but when I saw this photo of her older daughter, I was struck by how much she looks like her mom did at that age…I just had to get it on the blog. (Yes, Andrea and I went to school together back in the day and if not for the wonders of facebook, I wouldn’t have been able to meet her wonderful family.) Then of course, if I put Gabriella on the blog…I couldn’t leave out Jackson and cute little Delaney! I promise to share a family shot at a later date but I couldn’t resist these cute faces for today!

Smells like soft {CT newborn photographer}

This Saturday I had a fun session with Sarah, Trent, Casey and 3 week old Harper. The weather wasn’t necessarily our friend but we even managed a few outdoor shots before it started raining harder. At one point we were trying to get Casey to kiss Harper and Sarah asked her what baby Harper smelled like…and her reply was priceless…”She smells like soft.” I think we all melted just a little bit. Casey was such a trooper for the all-in-one newborn/family session. I wish I looked half as fabulous as Sarah did three weeks after my second daughter was born!!! It was great to meet all of you and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

My brother and his family were out for a visit and we had plans of a cousins photo session. Well, they happened to be here right during all of that rain and flooding. No outdoor session for us – we will have to wait until we are back in Michigan in June. I did take some photos in Foxwoods just for fun. Ayden is 12 and Aria just turned 10 this weekend! Hannah and Leah had so much fun with their cousins and can’t wait to see them again. You may recognize them from last summer!

All their dad wanted for Christmas was a photo of all of his kids together. So while the older daughters were in town for Christmas, we took that opportunity to photograph the family. There were a few hiccups along the way but hopefully everyone had fun! Here is a quick sneak peek of the 5 siblings.

This family is happily awaiting the arrival of a new addition to their family. Little brother Todd will be here in less than 2 weeks! I am not sure Big Sister Chloe knows what she is in for but she was very cute kissing the ultrasound of her brother and pointing to Mom’s belly when asked where Todd was. It was great to meet you and I look forward to meeting Todd too. Wishing the whole family a safe and happy arrival!

Eleven weeks {CT baby photographer}

We successfully avoided the rain this weekend and had a morning shoot at the Coast Guard Academy. While things were still a little wet, we managed to find some dry spots and the weather was downright balmy. The campus is beautiful and I enjoyed seeing it for the first time with this family. Ava and Emerson even took me to see their favorite bear statue on campus. Christy and Mike, enjoy your sneak peek!

This family sure knows how to have fun. The session started off with backflips, continued with tree climbing and ended with Little Mermaid imitations on the beach. Even though Will tried faking sick in order to get out of the photo session, I think he had a great time )though I am betting he may deny this statement!). There will definitely be some fun outtakes to share with this trio. I really enjoyed spending time with Terri, Sami and Will and can tell that there is so much love between them.
