We just got home today from our vacation to visit family in the midwest. Just one to share today of Hannah on the farm.

This weekend we went to Grant’s Berry Patch in Lisbon, CT. We picked some fabulous, red, juicy strawberries. The girls loved it. I will admit there was some sampling going on. We will definitely be going back this weekend to pick some more. Yum!!!

Happy Memorial Day! We started off our morning with breakfast at the beach. After we ate our fine breakfast of Burger King, we headed to the little beach to hunt for beach glass. Beach glass is usually abundant in brown, green and clear…most likely because I think most beach glass starts as discarded beer bottles. Blue beach glass is coveted because it is much less common. I am happy to report that our hunting this morning resulted in a lot of brown, green and clear but also the brilliant blue. After our search was over, we headed to the playground and the bigger beach. We were amazed by the amount of people staking out their spots for the day…some were even started the charcoal grills at 9am!

Well I had plans to do a Mine on Monday post of camera phone photos of Hannah riding her bike and Leah playing in her car but I am having technical difficulties. I have transferred photos from my phone numerous times and today it just won’t work. So I went back and found this fun sister shot from a recent visit to the Children’s Museum of Southeast Connecticut. They don’t even look like they are fighting over the organ!
If you haven’t ever visited this museum, definitely check it out. My girls love it! http://www.childrensmuseumsect.org/

Honestly, with all the years that I danced and taught dance, how could I possibly post these two snapshots without ANY words? So no Wordless Wednesday for you today!!!
We had photos for Hannah’s dance recital today. It was fun to watch another photographer capture the attention of ALL ten 4 year olds during the group shot. They also did some individual shots. I snapped these quick in the waiting area before she got her photo taken. I am pretty impressed with how polished her hair looked. Good thing you cannot see the back. I am hoping her hair grows at least a little bit in the next four weeks so I can do a bun instead of two tiny ponytails!
