Waiting for Baby {CT maternity photographer}

This weekend I met up with Rachel and John for some maternity photos.  They are awaiting the arrival of Baby Boy!  They have a name all picked out and we had some fun with it during our session but you will not see it here.  It is a secret!!!  (On a side note, I love the name!)   We had a lot of fun with the session and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

I absolutely love this one…she is positively glowing and you can see their amazing connection.

Dexter is their first baby.  He wasn’t so sure about me at first but turns out he loves kissy noises!!!

I love the look on her face in this one…mmmm….ice cream!!!

Just one more… {CT family photographer}

…well two more. While this might not of been the shot we were hoping for, it is still a favorite. Raquel had a funny idea to run to her husband and jump on him, hoping he wouldn’t drop her. We all agreed it would be pretty funny to capture that scenario. Unfortunately, as she ran to meet him, he was intercepted by someone else. They obviously still had a great reuniuon.

I am pretty sure he is thinking “Who is this person and why does she have a camera in my face?!?” but there is just something about this photograph that I love.

Charlie and Debbie {CT family photographer}

I had a wonderful time photographing an extended family of twelve: 2 parents, 4 siblings, 2 spouses and 4 grandkids and don’t forget Jelly Bean the dog. They are the type of family that makes you feel like you are one of them. I have tons of photos to share but thought I would start off with the centerpieces of this family: Charlie and Debbie, also known as Dad and Mom, also known as Digi and Mimi by the youngest generation.

I absolutely love this captured moment. They look so happy and still completely in love.
