You may remember Miss Natalie from her newborn photos from last October. She is now 7 months old and is an accomplished sitter. It was so fun to visit her at her house and be able to capture her in her nursery, in her parent’s room, in the kitchen sink and everywhere else. We played in the crib with Sophie, took her first bubble bath in the sink, modeled a pretty pink petti and even played with her brother’s cars (don’t tell big brother Nathan!). I love her pudgy rolls and many facial expressions. Natalie is often very serious, almost studious but she also has a smile that lights up her face!
And I kind of think she looks like a kewpie doll. I love her and can’t wait until our next session!
And a word on safety, ALWAYS be sure your child is safe while taking photographs or participating in a session. If you feel uncomfortable with any situation, please stop your photographer. In the aqua dresser shot, Natalie’s mom was just to the left of the frame. In the changing table shot, her mom was also to the left of the table and I cloned out her hands which were ready to steady the baby if needed. Please do not leave children unattended on top of furniture in an attempt to recreate similar shots.
