Introducing…Photo Safari Friday

A few weeks ago, we decided it would be fun to do a photo safari on our trip to Central Park.  All four of us, equipped with cameras of our own, ventured out with list of items to capture on our morning out.  There were ten things to search for that first morning.  I am going to start by showing you TWO.    1.  Flower and 2.  Slide

All photos are SOOC.

I used the Canon 5dMarkII.

Andy used our Canon SD1300.

Hannah used our old Nikon Coolpix L10.

Leah used the ancient Fuji S3000.

Hannah might just be a budding photographer…she loved the search and loved using the camera.  I think she took over 100 photos that day (25 of taxis!)…gotta love digital.  It was hilarious to watch her take photos of Leah…”Leah stand right there.  Look this way…no put your chin down.  Smile…no, a nice smile…”  It was a little tougher on Leah – the fuji was a little hard for her to hold and push the button…she needed help.  She usually pointed it and I helped with the button.

We all had so much fun (even Andy) that we will surely do it again some weekend morning IF we can get some nice weather!

That is an awesome idea Becky!! I can’t wait to see more of them. And that would make a really cool photo book to put together at the end of the summer or a year.
