The Andersons have some big news and this big news will definitely affect Becky Anderson Photography. We have been given an incredible opportunity to move to New York City for one year. Yep, NYC!!!! We will be moving to the Upper East Side by December 1st. Just in time to celebrate the holidays in the city. I am so excited about that. I already have plans to take Hannah to see the Rockettes this Christmas (too bad Laura is no longer dancing with them!). We have visited NYC numerous times but only for short overnight trips. We are super excited to explore all of it over the next year. I plan to blog a ton of photos so you can all explore the city with me.
What does this mean for you?
– I am not doing any more sessions after November 15th – this was my original holiday cut-off anyway in order to receive orders and prints in time for Christmas.
-Anyone booking a session in November will receive free shipping on your items as they may be coming from NYC and unless you plan to be in the city – customer pickup will be difficult. 🙂 Though I would be happy to be your excuse to finally get into the city for the holidays!
-If you are planning on a fall session with Becky Anderson Photography, please book soon because my calendar is filling up quickly
-If you were planning a milestone session sometime next year (1st birthday, maternity, newborn), please contact me if you would like me to suggest some fabulous local photographers that I know.
-If you are planning a family trip to NYC next year and want to rock some family photos in Central Park, give me a call! (thanks to my client Casey for that idea!)
-I am also tossing around the idea of a weekend of spring minisessions in CT next year if there is enough interest. Stay tuned to the blog and facebook this spring.
I had this elaborate plan to take a bunch of fun NYC photos while we were there apartment hunting a couple of days ago to blog our big news…unfortunately, we had to come home the same day to a sick daughter. Thankfully, it turned out to only be an ear infection but she was inconsolable and hysterical. Turns out that in her 4 year old mind, she thought we went to NYC for good and left her behind with her sister and grandma.
So a BIG thank you to Nicole from Nicole Fields Photography for letting me use her photo of Central Park from the Top of the Rock. She is a fabulously talented photographer with an amazing style. Check her out – www.nicolefields.com
