I had the pleasure of attending the birthday party of Helen Wright last weekend. Her whole family came together to celebrate 100 years of her life! If we could all be so lucky to be surrounded by family while reaching this spectacular milestone!
Here are a few words about Helen from her daughter-in-law Debbie:
Helen Wright is a hearty life-long resident of RI. She tells stories of riding in her horse and buggy to the beach once a year and how she remembers the first cars in Carolina, RI. She has been a Red Sox fan her whole life and she enjoyed traveling to Fenway Park to see Dom DiMaggio and Ted Williams play ball. She still watches the games on television. Helen turned one hundred on May 7th and is a strong, healthy woman who walks unassisted. She lived on her own at ninety-nine years old although she chose to move into an assisted living home last summer. Helen Wright is a cheerful, kind, articulate woman who values her two sons, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
I was honored to meet you and a very Happy Mother’s Day to you!!!
